Gregory Wellman, DPT, OCS, CMPT

Greg was first introduced to Physical Therapy, like many of you, through his own personal injury. Having always been interested in pursuing a profession in the medical realm; he realized a perfect match to combine his passions for assisting and interacting with people. Following completion of a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska, Greg earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha. He graduated in the top of his class with honors, Magna cum Laude. He is thankful not only for the education he received but also for the opportunity to travel to and ultimately call home to the beautiful state of Washington. Once in Washington, Greg passionately pursued and earned the right to call himself a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy. He is also a Board Certified clinical specialist in Orthopaedics (OCS) placing him in the top tier of Physical Therapists in the nation. More recently he has been certified as a golf fitness instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. Admittedly started to help his own struggling game, he has come away with an approach to improving play that he is excited to share with others. Greg resides with his wife and son just minutes from the OPTIMUM clinic. Contact Greg at greg@optimum-pt.org
